about reiki:

Reiki is a non-invasive healing modality from Japan, born from Shinto and Buddhist rituals, practices and purification techniques. A treatment is like an
induced meditation, transmitting a pure frequency that supports healing processes. Clarifying, nourishing, strengthening, or recalibrating,
reiki sessions may be used for or infused into objects, relationships, and places, as well as for individuals.

Maya Stewart Pathak is a reiki master based in Montréal.

Her practice blends and honours the Gendai Reiki Ryoho, founded by Hirashi Doi, and the Usui lineage. Following extensive training with lady Samantha Chin and Andreja Ivic through the Rock Store in Toronto, she participated in an additional master training with Lisa Levine at Maha Rose in Mazunte, Oaxaca.

Her work with reiki draws on the focus and discpline of the Gendai lineage as well as the lighter, freer quality of the Usui branch of reiki.
